Every release, newest first — what changed, what was fixed, and which version it landed in. Updates install themselves; this is the record of what they brought.
Supplier statement now adds up line by line, with debit and credit columns and the items on each bill.

Parchoon billing fix — important
• Switching between Cash and Credit no longer re-prices loose (Kg) lines at
the bag rate. A cart holding 10 Kg of khaad alongside a full bag could be
billed tens of thousands of rupees too much after a single tap.
At the till
• Long names and large advance figures no longer run off the customer strip.
• Advance held now reads as Rs 50,69,500 instead of 5069500.
Day book
• Cash taken to the bank can now say which bank or wallet it went into.
Suppliers
• Advance paid to a company is shown as an advance, not a minus figure, and
a supplier already holding your advance can be paid again.
• A purchase shows how much of the advance that bill will use.
Party Settlement (new, off by default)
• Record a customer paying one of your suppliers directly. Both khatas move;
nothing touches the drawer. Turn it on in Settings → Buying and Selling.
Settings
• Every feature switch now explains what it does, how it works, where it
appears and what happens if you turn it off again.
Cancelled bills no longer count as profit, and loose khaad bills the right amount everywhere
YOUR PROFIT FIGURE WAS COUNTING CANCELLED BILLS
• When you cancel a sale, the bill is marked cancelled and the stock and
khata are put back correctly — but the profit statement kept counting it.
• Revenue, cost, profit, margin, the bill count and the Top Products ranking
were all overstated, and the error stayed there permanently: every further
cancellation made it worse.
• The sales register always excluded cancelled bills, so the two reports
disagreed and nothing on screen explained why.
• Fixed in all three places: the profit statement, profit by product, and the
cost-coverage check. Your figures will change the first time you open the
report — that is the correction, not a new problem.
KHAAD SOLD LOOSE, BILLED CORRECTLY EVERYWHERE
Selling by the kilo out of a sealed bag stores the quantity as a fraction of
a bag, and the rate per kilo. Several places used the wrong one of the two:
• Selling loose to another shop lost the bag weight entirely when the bill
was saved. A return against that bill would have refunded a fraction of
what the customer paid, and the profit report showed a loss on a sale that
earned money.
• The receipt on screen showed the quantity as "0" next to the full amount.
The printed receipt was already correct, so the screen and the paper
disagreed.
• Sale History showed a loose line as "0.2 Kg" instead of "10 Kg".
• A held bill showed the wrong value in the held-bills list — a Rs 1,450 cart
appeared as Rs 29 — so a cashier picking between several held bills had no
way to tell them apart. The bill itself was always priced correctly when
resumed.
• Held bills also added the tax percentage to the total as if it were rupees.
MONEY THAT NEVER LEFT THE DRAWER IS NO LONGER COUNTED AS CASH
• A payment to a supplier is now recorded with how it was actually made —
cash, Easypaisa, JazzCash, bank transfer or cheque. It used to be recorded
as cash whatever it was, so a bank transfer to a company was subtracted
from the till at day close and reported as a shortage.
• Settling a khata short (a write-off) is money the customer never paid, so
no notes left the drawer. It was being counted as cash and made the day
close short by the forgiven amount.
• The same for an opening balance, which is spending from before AgroPOS.
• Existing entries are corrected automatically when you open the software.
Nothing is deleted and no amount changes — only whether it counts as cash.
INSPECTION REGISTERS
• Quantities on the inspection reports now count loose sales in kilos rather
than as a fraction of a bag, so the register reconciles with what actually
left the shelf.
• An invoice holding both full bags and loose kilos shows no combined total,
because there is no single figure that describes both.
SMALLER FIXES
• The customer's phone number was blank on every row of the exported Sales
Register and Daily Report, even though it was recorded.
• Expense payment methods now use the same list as the rest of the software,
so a report can group them.

Close the day by counting the drawer, record how money was paid, and see who changed what
CLOSE THE DAY BY COUNTING THE DRAWER
• A new Day Book screen answers the question the software could not answer
before: how much cash should be in the drawer right now.
• It takes your opening float, adds the cash that came in from sales and
recovery, subtracts cash expenses, cash purchases, supplier payments and
anything you took to the bank — and shows what should be there.
• At closing time you count the notes and enter the total. The software tells
you whether it matches, and by how much it is short or over.
• The expected figure stays hidden until you have typed your count, so the
count is a real count and not a number copied off the screen.
• Udhaar is left out of the drawer figure, because it is on the khata and not
in the till. It is shown separately so the day's full takings are still
clear.
• Nothing is frozen when the day closes. Enter a back-dated bill next week and
that day's figures correct themselves, instead of quietly disagreeing with
your ledger.
HOW THE MONEY WAS PAID
• Sales and recovery now record the method: Cash, Easypaisa, JazzCash, Bank
Transfer, Cheque or Other.
• The till asks only when money is actually changing hands. A pure udhaar sale
is not asked, because nothing was paid yet.
• This is what lets the day close be trusted. Money that came by Easypaisa or
bank never entered the drawer, so counting it as cash would report a
shortage every single evening.
• The recovery screen already asked for the method but had nowhere to keep it.
It is now recorded properly and can be totalled.
SEE WHO CHANGED WHAT
• A new Change History screen records edits to the things that move money:
product rates, credit limits, tax percent, invoice numbering, and user roles
and accounts.
• Each entry shows what the value was, what it became, who changed it and
when.
• Passwords are never recorded — only the fact that one was changed.
• Admin only.
CUSTOMER KHATA NOW SHOWS QUANTITIES
• The khata statement lists what was bought with the quantity beside it —
"Urea 5 Bag, DAP 2 Bag" — so you can answer "what is this charge for?"
without opening the invoice.
• This works on old bills too, not only new ones: the quantities are read from
the bill itself rather than from the ledger note.
• Khaad sold loose reads in kilos, the way the customer bought it.
TABLES NO LONGER BREAK ON A SMALL SCREEN
• On a laptop screen, a long product or customer name used to wrap onto two or
three lines and push every row out of line. Fixed across thirteen screens,
including Products, Inventory, Purchases, Sale History, Customers,
Suppliers and the ledgers.
• The customer khata now narrows its date and amount columns on a small screen
instead of squeezing the description to nothing.

Stock that showed "in stock" but would not sell, and a purchase return that credited the wrong amount
STOCK THAT COULD NOT BE SOLD
• When you add a product and type an opening quantity, that figure was never
turned into sellable stock. The product listed "25 in stock" and every
attempt to bill it answered "out of stock".
• There is now a Pending Stock page in the sidebar listing exactly these
products, so you can see at a glance what is stuck and how much of it.
• From that page you complete a normal purchase — the same form, the same
supplier, the same Cash / Credit / Partial choice. Nothing is decided for
you, because only you know who you bought from and what you paid.
• The quantity is filled in from what you typed when creating the product.
The page says plainly that this figure is for purchasing the item, not a
count of your shelf: if some of it was already sold by hand while the till
refused to bill it, enter what you actually bought and correct the shelf
figure afterwards from Inventory.
• A product whose cost and selling price are the same is flagged there too —
it would otherwise sell at no profit, and the purchase is the right moment
to put the real cost in.
PURCHASE RETURN CREDITED THE WRONG AMOUNT
• Returning goods to a supplier credited the rate printed on the bill, not
what the stock actually cost you after the discount and taxes on that
purchase.
• On any bill carrying a discount or tax, the credit was therefore wrong —
too much or too little — and your payable to that supplier drifted by the
difference on every return.
• Returns are now credited at the landed cost, and the return slip says so
when that differs from the rate on the original bill.
SETTINGS, REORGANISED
• Settings was three tabs, and one of them carried nine unrelated cards —
software updates sat below the record-deleting switches, so finding
anything meant scrolling past everything else.
• It is now six named groups down the side: Shop, Billing, Printing, Stock,
Features and About. Each says what is inside it before you open it.
• Every setting is exactly where it was before in meaning, and one Save
button still saves the whole screen, including groups you have moved away
from.
SMALLER FIXES
• The payment date field at the counter no longer wraps onto two lines and
pushes the panel out of shape.

Settle a khata short, take the payment date at the counter, and pay a shop as well as collect from one
SETTLE A KHATA SHORT
• A customer owes Rs 51,000 and says "I will give 50,000, close my account".
Take the payment in Recovery and tick "Settle the account".
• The khata closes at zero and the forgiven Rs 1,000 is recorded as a
Write-off expense with that customer's name on it.
• The forgiven amount comes out of your profit. This is the part that matters:
the sale counted the full Rs 51,000 as earnings on the day it was billed, so
simply zeroing the balance would leave your books reporting money you never
received.
• Write-offs show as their own line in the profit statement, so you can see at
the end of a season exactly how much was forgiven and to whom.
• The receipt now says the account is settled. Before this it would have
printed "Rs 1,000 still due" on a khata you had just closed.
• Admin only. A cashier taking payments all day cannot forgive a balance.
A PAYMENT DATE, TAKEN AT THE COUNTER
• On a credit or partial sale you can now record the date the customer says
they will pay — Tomorrow, 1 week, or any date you pick.
• The moment a dealer actually hears the date is while the udhaar is being
handed over, not later at the recovery screen.
• Completely optional. Leave it blank when no date was named — most udhaar is
given that way, and a forced field would only produce invented dates.
• Not shown on a cash sale, and not shown once a partial payment has settled
the bill in full: there is nothing left to promise.
• The customer then appears on Recovery Dates on the day — green while the
date still stands, red once it has passed.
PAY A SHOP, NOT ONLY COLLECT FROM ONE
• A shop you buy from as well as sell to now has a "Pay" button beside
"Receive" on its khata.
• Money going out lands on the same account as money coming in, so a two-way
trading relationship finally balances. Before this only collection could be
recorded, and the khata drifted by exactly what you had paid out.
• A payment settles the oldest outstanding bills first.
WHOLESALE BILLS AND SUPPLIER BILLS NO LONGER GET MIXED UP
• Shops and suppliers are numbered separately, so shop 7 and supplier 7 can
both exist. Several screens were matching on the number alone.
• Collecting from a shop could settle a supplier's bill; a shop's khata could
count a supplier's sales in its totals; and deleting a shop could delete a
supplier's bills and put their stock back on the shelf.
• All five places are now scoped to the right party. Nothing on your system
was affected — this closes the possibility before anyone met it.
SETUP GUIDE UPDATED
• The setup guide now covers the payment date and settling a khata short, in
both English and Urdu, online and in the downloadable offline copy.

Recovery dates, a credit score for every customer — and two parchoon fixes
RECOVERY DATES — WHO SAID THEY WOULD PAY TODAY
• A dealer's real question in the morning is not "who owes me" — Recovery
Management already answers that. It is "who said they would pay today". Now
you can record it.
• On any customer with a balance, press "Payment Date" and put in the day they
named. Tomorrow, in 3 days, next week and in 15 days are one tap each, or
pick any date. The amount and a note are optional, because most of these
conversations name a day and not a figure.
• The new Recovery Dates screen in the sidebar lists everyone due today,
together with every date that has already slipped — oldest first. The slipped
ones are the ones that get forgotten, so they are not on a separate screen.
• Green while the date is still good, red once it has passed. Readable across
a counter without reading a word of it.
• A "Today's Recovery" card on the dashboard shows how many are due and how
many have passed. Click it to open the list.
• When a customer says "not today, the 20th", the old date is not overwritten.
It is closed and the new one written after it, so "the 12th, then the 20th,
then the 3rd" stays readable months later.
A CREDIT SCORE THAT MEANS SOMETHING
• Every customer starts at 10 out of 10. A payment date that passes with
nothing paid costs one point. Nothing else does.
• Not the size of the balance, not how long they have owed, not how often they
buy on credit. A farmer carrying Rs 300,000 who pays on every date he names
is a good customer; one carrying Rs 20,000 who has broken four dates is not.
The score measures the second thing, because the first is already on screen.
• Part payment on the day keeps the promise. Somebody who owed Rs 50,000, said
the 12th and brought Rs 20,000 on the 12th turned up and paid — that costs
nothing. Even one rupee protects the date.
• A promise still running costs nothing either. Naming dates is not the
failure; missing them is.
• The score stops at zero and never goes below.
THE WARNING AT THE TILL
• Below 5, picking that customer for a sale brings up a warning in English and
Urdu: how many dates they have missed, what they last promised, and how late
it is. "Got it · سمجھ گیا" closes it.
• It does not block the sale. You often know something the software does not —
his cotton is two weeks off, or he is a relative. The decision stays yours;
the history is simply in front of you while you make it.
• The score shows beside every customer in Recovery Management and on the
Recovery Dates list, coloured green, amber or red.
FORGIVING A SCORE
• The owner can reset any customer back to 10 — long-press the score chip in
Recovery Management. Staff cannot.
• The promise history is kept. The missed dates stay visible; they simply stop
counting against the score from that day on.
TWO PARCHOON FIXES
• The Parchoon switch in Settings would not stay on. Tapping it appeared to do
nothing, so loose selling could not be turned on at all. Fixed.
• The product screen had no way to say how heavy a bag was — you could pick
Bag or Kg as the unit, but not both, and nothing was ever splittable. Now a
khaad product asks directly: "One bag weighs [50] Kg" and "Parchoon rate
[145] /Kg", side by side.
• It also shows what the bag already works out to per kilo — "Bag works out to
Rs 130/Kg — you earn Rs 15 more per Kg loose" — and warns in red if your
loose rate is set below it, which would be a loss on every sale.
If you are already running parchoon on 1.0.47, nothing changes: batches whose
pack size reads "50 Kg" keep working exactly as they do now.

switched off until you turn them on.
Parchoon — sell khaad by the kilo, out of a sealed bag
A farmer wants ten kilos of urea, not a whole fifty-kilo bori. Every khaad shop
in the country does this, and until now AgroPOS could not bill it: the till
counted bags, so ten kilos would have been "0.2" — which is not a quantity
anybody says out loud, and not a figure you can hand a customer.
This release adds it properly.
TURNING IT ON
• Settings > Who You Sell To > "Parchoon — sell khaad by the Kg". Off until you
switch it on, so a shop that only moves whole bags sees no change anywhere.
• There is nothing else to set up. No second product to create, no "loose
stock" item to keep in step, no bag-breaking step to remember. The software
works out which products can be split by reading the pack size you already
enter on the purchase — "50 Kg" means it can be opened, and that is all it
needs.
• Set one figure per product: the Parchoon Rate, in rupees per kilo. It appears
on khaad products only.
AT THE COUNTER
• Pick a bag of khaad and it asks one question: Full Bag, or Loose by the Kg.
Both are on the screen with their rates, so there is nothing to remember.
• Full Bag is listed first and is the ordinary case. A dealer selling whole
bags all day does exactly what they did before.
• Choose Kg, type 10, done. There are 5 / 10 / 25 Kg shortcuts for the amounts
farmers actually ask for, and the money is shown before you commit:
10 Kg x Rs 145 = Rs 1,450.
YOUR PARCHOON RATE, NOT A DIVIDED BAG RATE
• Loose khaad sells for more per kilo than the bag works out to. That margin is
the reason for doing it at all, so the till charges the per-kilo rate you set
and never quietly falls back to the bag rate.
• A product with no parchoon rate simply cannot be sold loose, and the screen
says why rather than billing the wrong figure.
THE BAG OPENS ITSELF — AND TELLS YOU FIRST
• Twenty kilos lying open and a farmer wants thirty? The next bag is opened
automatically. You do not press anything.
• But you are told before the sale, not after: "Only 20 Kg is open. 1 more bag
will be opened for this sale. Stock after: 18 bags + 40 Kg." Opening a bag is
a real act in the shop, and it should be your decision.
STOCK READS THE WAY YOU WRITE IT
• "19 bags + 30 Kg" — on the till, in the stock list, and on the printed
registers. Never a fraction of a bag, anywhere.
• Receipts, A4 invoices, the customer's khata and Sale History all say "10 Kg"
for a loose sale, because that is what the farmer bought.
• The Agriculture Department registers — batch-wise stock, expiry and
company-wise stock — print bags and loose kilos separately, so what an
inspector reads matches what is on your shelf.
RETURNS
• A customer brings back five kilos: the return screen shows what was sold in
kilos, offers the kilos still returnable, and takes the refund at the same
per-kilo rate it was billed at. The stock goes back into the exact batch it
came out of.
WHAT IS NOT AFFECTED
• Spray, seed, bottles, packets and anything sold by the piece never show the
option — it only appears on products that come in a Kg bag of five kilos or
more. Pesticide is deliberately excluded.
• Profit and loss counts a parchoon sale correctly: ten kilos out of a bag
bought at Rs 5,500 costs Rs 1,100, so a Rs 1,450 sale shows Rs 350 earned.
• Switching parchoon off later hides the option and changes no stock. A batch
holding part of an open bag keeps it.

Discount on any single product, selling to suppliers, and AgroPOS on your phone
AGROPOS MOBILE — YOUR SHOP IN YOUR POCKET
• A free Android app that shows your customers, khata, recovery, suppliers and
stock wherever you are. Read-only: nothing on the phone can change your books.
• Connecting takes one scan. On the PC open Settings > Mobile App and press
"Show QR code", then scan it with the phone. Nothing to type — no email, no
password, no account.
• Meet a customer in the field, open their khata, and send them a proper
account statement on the spot — a PDF with your shop's name on it showing
what they purchased, what they paid and what is left, with a signature line.
It goes by WhatsApp like any other file.
• Every screen says how old the data is — "12 min ago", "3 hr ago" — so you
always know whether this morning's bills are counted before you quote a
figure to somebody.
• Your PC sends its data up automatically as you work. Pressing "Show QR code"
sends it immediately, so a phone you just connected is never showing
yesterday.
• Remove a phone any time from the same screen: Settings > Mobile App shows
every connected phone and when it was last used.
DISCOUNT ON ONE PRODUCT, NOT JUST THE WHOLE BILL
• Every line on the bill now has its own discount box, in rupees or percent —
tap Rs / % to switch. Fifty rupees off a bag of urea and ten percent on a
drum of spray, on the same invoice.
• The discounted line is marked next to the product, and the receipt shows it
per item, so a customer can see exactly what they were given on what.
• The overall bill discount works as before, underneath.
• Press F4 to jump to the bill discount without reaching for the mouse. The
header lists the shortcuts: F2 barcode, F4 discount, Esc clear.
• Works the same on POS Billing and Wholesale Billing.
SELL TO YOUR SUPPLIERS, NOT ONLY TO SHOPS
• Wholesale Billing can now make a bill out to a supplier as well as a shop —
for the surplus stock you sell back to the company you buy from.
• One picker with two tabs, Shops and Suppliers, with search on both.
• The supplier's statement shows both directions: what you purchased from them
and what you sold to them, with the net. When they end up owing you, the
card says "They Owe You" instead of "Payable".
• Selling to a supplier reduces what you owe them, exactly as a payment would.
RECOVERY NOW COUNTS THE SHOPS TOO
• Pending recovery on the dashboard, on the Recovery screen and in Reports now
includes the money your wholesale shops owe you. Before this, a pallet sold
on udhaar appeared in the shop's khata but in none of the totals.
• The Recovery list stays customers-only — shops are collected from Shop Khata
— so the header tells you how much of the total is sitting on the shop side.
• Reports shows an "Owed by Shops" figure beside the customer table.
PURCHASES: YOUR SUPPLIER'S OWN BILL NUMBER
• The supplier's bill number now shows on the purchase list under your own
invoice number, and in the purchase details.
• Search finds a purchase by that number. When you are on the phone to a
supplier about a delivery, their number is the one being discussed — now you
can type it straight in.
COMPANY-WISE STOCK: CHOOSE THE COMPANIES
• The company-wise stock report used to print every company you have ever
stocked. Now it asks first: search, tick the companies you need, generate.
• Everything starts ticked, so pressing Generate straight away gives you the
full report exactly as before.
• Each company shows how many batches and how many units it holds, so you can
tell at a glance which one the inspector is asking about.

Wholesale gets its own screen, shops get their own khata, and every payment prints a receipt
WHOLESALE IS NOW ITS OWN SCREEN, NOT A TILL TAB
• Wholesale Billing sits in the sidebar under POS Billing, with its own bill in
progress. A farmer at the counter and a shop's pallet order can both be open
at the same time; neither touches the other.
• It has everything the till has: barcode scanning, F2 to jump to the scanner,
the pack and batch picker, per-line rates, cash / credit / partial, discount
in rupees or percent, tax, back-dating an old bill, and the same receipt.
• Search results show your trade rate, so you see what you are about to charge
rather than the shelf price you are not.
• Before you save, the panel shows what the bill does to that shop's khata —
the number you actually decide on when a shop asks for more credit. A shop
near its credit limit is flagged before the bill is written, and a bill that
would take it past the limit is refused.
• The POS till is back to exactly what it was: customers only, one unfiltered
list, no wholesale tab.
SHOPS ARE THEIR OWN RECORDS
• A shop is no longer a customer with a tick. It has the fields a shop actually
has — trading name, proprietor, area, NTN, dealer licence.
• Add one from the wholesale screen, or convert an existing customer into a
shop. Their khata moves with them; their old bills stay where they are.
• Shop Khata is its own screen. When you both sell to and buy from a shop it
shows both sides and the net, so a balance that looks wrong can be explained
from the same page.
SHOPS CAN RETURN GOODS, THE SAME AS CUSTOMERS
• A shop sending stock back works exactly like a customer return: the goods go
into the batches they were sold from, and the shop's khata is credited or the
cash refund is recorded in the day's books.
• Returns against a shop bill appear on the bill, and can be cancelled the same
way.
ONE SALE HISTORY FOR BOTH
• Sale History now lists customer bills and shop bills together, with chips to
narrow to All bills, Customers or Shops. "What did I sell today?" is one
question, and it was taking two screens and adding the totals by hand.
• Shop bills are marked, so a trade bill is never mistaken for a farmer's.
• Wholesale Bills stays where it is for the shop-only view in one click.
• Your profit and loss statement, the day's returns, and top-selling products
now count wholesale as well as retail. A dealer moving half their stock to
other shops was reading a statement built only from the counter.
EVERY PAYMENT PRINTS A RECEIPT
• When a customer or a shop pays money against their khata, an 80 mm slip
prints: their name, what they owed before, what they just paid, and what is
left, with a signature line.
• This is the transaction most likely to be argued over months later, and it
was the one with no paper.
• It prints from wherever you take the payment — Recovery, the customer list,
or a shop's khata.
AUTO-PRINT NOW COVERS EVERY SLIP
• If you have chosen your thermal printer and switched auto-print on, every
80 mm slip goes straight to it — sale receipts, wholesale bills and payment
receipts alike. No printer dialog on any of them.
• Your printer is matched even if Windows reports its name slightly
differently, or it is shared over the network.
• If it genuinely cannot reach the printer, the receipt window now tells you
why — which printer it was looking for and what Windows is listing instead —
instead of quietly opening the print dialog.
DELETING A CUSTOMER, SHOP OR SUPPLIER
• Off by default. Turn it on in Settings > Customer, Shop and Supplier Records.
Admin only, whatever the setting says.
• Before anything is deleted you are shown exactly what goes: how many bills,
how many khata entries, and what balance disappears with them. You then type
the name to confirm.
• Stock from those bills goes back onto the shelf, so your inventory stays
correct. If the party is linked to a supplier for a netted khata, that other
record stays — only the link is cleared.
• To take a party out of your pickers without losing their history, mark them
inactive instead. That is still the right answer most of the time.

Wholesale, two-way khata, Excel import, and sale delete
WHOLESALE — sell to other shops at your trade rate
• A fourth till tab beside Cash, Credit and Partial. The Wholesale tab lists
only your shop customers; the other three list only farmers, so nobody is
ever billed off the wrong rate card.
• Set one wholesale rate per product. A shop pays it whether they hand over
cash or take udhaar — a product with no wholesale rate falls back to your
normal price rather than billing nothing.
• Mark a customer as a Shop and give the business its own name. That name is
what prints on the bill, not the person who came to collect.
• Turn it on in Settings > Who You Sell To. Leave it off and nothing about
wholesale appears anywhere.
ONE KHATA FOR A PARTY YOU BOTH BUY FROM AND SELL TO
• Sell to a supplier, or buy from a shop customer, and keep a single account
for them instead of two you reconcile by hand.
• Sold them 50,000 and bought 200,000 from them shows as one balance —
150,000 you owe. It appears once in payables and not at all in recovery.
• Their statement shows both sides: what you sold, what you bought, and the
net. Settings > Buying and Selling.
BRING YOUR LISTS IN FROM EXCEL
• Import products, customers and suppliers. Each has a ready template with
every column explained and filled examples to copy.
• Nothing is saved until you say so. AgroPOS reads the file first and shows
what it will do: how many are new, which you already have, and which rows
cannot be used and why — naming the row so you can find it in Excel.
• You decide about every existing record, one at a time. Updating changes the
details only: an import never moves a udhaar balance, a payable or stock.
DELETING A SALE, WHEN YOU WANT IT
• Off by default; turn it on in Settings > Sale Records. Cashiers never get
it whatever the setting says.
• A deleted sale puts its stock back into the exact batches it came from and
reverses what the customer still owed on that bill — both recorded in the
ledger and stock history, not done silently.
• If you only need the bill again, Reprint still does that and changes
nothing.
Your existing customers, suppliers, stock and khatas are untouched by this
update. All four features are switched off until you turn them on.
Excel import — bring your lists in instead of typing them
• Import products, customers and suppliers from an Excel file. Each one has a
ready-made template with the right columns and an example row, so there is
nothing to guess at.
• Nothing is saved until you say so. AgroPOS reads the file first and shows
you exactly what it will do: how many rows are new, which records you
already have, and which rows cannot be used and why — naming the row so you
can find it in Excel.
• You decide about every existing record, one by one: leave it alone, or
update it. There is no hidden setting that quietly overwrites your shop.
• Updating changes the details only. An import never moves a customer's
udhaar balance, a supplier's payable, or a product's stock — those belong to
your bills and purchases.
• Opening quantity on a new product becomes real, sellable stock, with its own
batch number and expiry date.
• Column order does not matter and spare columns are ignored, so a stock
report exported from AgroPOS can be edited in Excel and imported straight
back in.
The free trial is now 14 days
• The free trial has been doubled from 7 days to 14. A week is not
enough to judge software you will keep for years — the questions
that decide it, like whether the inspection register prints
correctly and whether the udhaar adds up, need real trading days.
• This is already live on the server, so a trial claimed today runs
for 14 days whichever version you have installed. This update
simply makes the screens say so.
• Still the complete software with nothing switched off, one trial per
computer, and no card or payment details needed.
Hold a bill and come back to it — new
• A customer says "add two bags of urea, I'll be back" and walks off to
the godown. Press Hold Bill, serve the next customer, then bring the
first bill back with one click.
• As many held bills at a time as the counter needs. Name each one so
you can find it — the customer's name, "red pickup", "gate par".
• A held bill is NOT a sale. No invoice number is used and no stock is
reserved, so a cart forgotten overnight costs nothing and leaves no
gap in your invoice numbers.
• When you resume it, every line is checked against live stock:
anything that sold out meanwhile is removed, anything short is
reduced to what is on the shelf now, and the till tells you which
lines changed — instead of you finding out in front of the customer.
Reports — one tap for a whole period
• Today, This Month, Last Month and This Year buttons on the Reports
screen. The date-range picker is still there for anything else.
• The profit and loss statement, sales, top products, expenses and
recovery all follow the period you pick.
Both of these also work exactly the same offline, like the rest of AgroPOS.
Who took the goods — on udhaar bills
• On a Credit or Partial sale the till now has a "Received by" box.
Write who is actually carrying the goods away: the customer himself,
his son, the munshi, a driver, a neighbour sent to collect.
• It prints on both the thermal receipt and the A4 invoice, so the slip
the customer holds says the same thing your record does.
• It appears on the customer's ledger line beside the invoice, which is
where an udhaar dispute is actually settled — no need to open the
invoice to answer "who took it?".
• It also shows in Sale History when you expand a bill.
• The box is optional, and does not appear on cash sales — a cash
customer leaves settled, so there is nothing to trace later.
Sale History now shows quantity
• The list showed money but never goods. There is now an Items column
with the number of products and the total quantity on each bill, so
you can find "the bill with the twenty bags" without opening every
row.
• Half quantities are counted properly — half a bag of urea reads as
0.5, not as nothing.
Reprint a receipt from Sale History
• Every invoice in Sale History now has a printer button. It opens the
same receipt window you see after a sale, with the same 80mm thermal
and A4 buttons and the same Share PDF.
• The reprint carries the original exactly: same invoice number, same
items, same batch numbers, same rates and discounts. And for a credit
sale it shows the balance as it stood on that invoice, not today's
balance — so an old slip does not look like a different bill.
• Printing a copy changes nothing. It does not touch stock, the
customer's balance or the invoice number.
• On a counter with automatic printing switched on, a reprint does NOT
print by itself. You press the button, so simply looking an invoice
up never wastes a slip.
Delete Sale removed
• The delete button is gone from Sale History. Deleting rewrote history
— stock came back, the customer's balance moved, and the invoice
number vanished from the book.
• To undo a sale, use Customer Return instead. It records what
happened rather than hiding it, puts the stock back against the
right batch, and leaves the invoice in the register where an
inspector expects to find it.
Customer Return — clearer figures
• The refund column was showing the discounted price under the heading
"Unit Price", which made it look as though the software was using a
rate of its own.
• It now shows both: the price from the bill struck through, the actual
refund beneath it, and the reason for the difference — item
discount, bill discount or tax.
• The window header now also shows the bill's own total and its
discount, so the refund can be checked against the invoice.
• The refund amounts themselves are unchanged; they were already
correct.
Profit & Loss — new
• Reports now opens on a Profit & Loss statement: sales, less returns,
less what the goods actually cost, less your shop expenses — and the
net profit at the bottom.
• The cost used is the rate the goods were BOUGHT at, batch by batch,
not today's rate. Last season's profit therefore stays what it was
when a new delivery arrives at a different price.
• Gross and net margin are shown as a percentage of sales, so one
season can be compared with the last.
• Expenses are broken down by category.
• A loss is shown as a loss.
• If any sold item has no purchase rate recorded, the screen says so
and warns that the real profit is lower — rather than quietly
counting that whole sale as profit.
• Choose any period with the dates at the top: a week, a month, or a
whole season.
Product search
• Searching by the chemical now works. Type "chlorpyrifos" and every
brand of it in your stock appears, not just the label you
remembered. The brand you typed still comes first.
Bank Accounts, Sale History, Supplier Payments, Expenses
• All the additions from the last release are included: multiple bank
accounts with in/out entries and PDF statements, single-day sale
history filtering, back-dated supplier payments, and an expenses
opening balance.
Update Fix — important
• Fixed an update problem that could stop AgroPOS from opening, with
the message "window_manager_plugin.dll is either not designed to run
on Windows or it contains an error".
• Cause: if a file was held open during an update (by AgroPOS itself,
or by antivirus scanning the folder), the installer would skip that
one file and still report success — leaving one old file among the
new ones, which Windows then refused to load.
• The installer now finishes replacing any such file on the next
restart, and checks its own work before closing. If anything did not
complete, it now says so and tells you what to do instead of
finishing quietly.
IF AGROPOS WILL NOT OPEN:
Install this update, then RESTART the computer. Your data is safe.
Bank Accounts — new

Enter old sales, and see advance payments properly
• You can now enter sales that happened before you started using AgroPOS. Under the Cash / Credit / Partial buttons there is a line showing today's date and a Change date link — pick the day the sale happened and the till turns amber so it cannot be missed. The bill records stock, batch, expiry and any credit exactly like a normal sale; only the date differs. The till returns to today by itself after each sale.
• Before entering old sales, read the note in the setup guide: old sales take stock off just like new ones, so enter your history before counting your shelf, not after.
• Fixed: a customer holding advance credit showed as "Clear" in the customer list, as though nothing was outstanding — when in fact the shop was holding their money. The list now shows the advance, and POS Billing tells the salesman before the sale so nobody asks a customer for money they have already paid.
• You can now take a payment from a customer who owes nothing — useful when a farmer pays ahead of the season. Open Recovery or the customer list and press Take Advance.
• Advance amounts are no longer shown with a minus sign or in red. Money the shop is holding for a customer is not a debt.
Fixed: sales failing with an invoice number error
• Fixed: a shop could reach a state where every sale was refused with "UNIQUE constraint failed: sales.invoice_number". The next invoice number was kept in Settings, separately from the invoices themselves, so the two could fall out of step — after restoring a backup, for example. Once the stored number pointed at an invoice that already existed, no further sale could be saved at all.
• The next number is now checked against the invoices actually issued, so it can never repeat one. If you have hit this, simply install this update — your existing invoices and their numbers are untouched, and billing continues from the next free number.
• A number set forward deliberately is still respected, and gaps in your invoice sequence are left exactly as they are.
New support number, and correct prices from the first item
• Our support number has changed to +92-315-7500264. Please save it — it is now shown throughout the software, in the setup guide and on our website. The old number will stop working.
• Fixed: an item added straight after opening POS Billing could be priced at the cash rate while the screen showed Credit. The screen and the till were each remembering the sale type separately and did not agree until a Cash, Credit or Partial button was pressed. The first item of a bill is now priced correctly like every other one.
• POS Billing still opens in Credit, as before.
• From the last update: a cash sale can be completed without choosing a customer. Press Cash and the Confirm button becomes usable straight away, showing "Walk-in Sale". Credit and partial sales still require a customer.
Cash sales without adding a customer
• A cash sale can now be completed without choosing a customer. The counter shows "Walk-in Customer" and the sale goes through as normal — useful for the many customers who buy once and pay on the spot, and it keeps your customer list free of one-off entries.
• You can still add a customer to a cash sale whenever you want one on record. Nothing about existing customers changes.
• Credit and partial sales still require a customer, and always will. Money owed has to be owed by somebody, or it cannot be recovered.
• A walk-in sale appears in your daily takings and reports exactly like any other sale. Nothing is written to any customer's ledger, because nothing is owed.
Receipts print themselves, and read better
• Settings → Printer Settings now has "Print every receipt automatically". Choose your receipt printer once, switch this on, and the slip prints the moment a sale is confirmed — no printer to pick and no paper size to confirm on every sale. If the printer is switched off or renamed, the usual print window still appears, so a receipt is never lost.
• Fixed: text on the thermal receipt could print as blank spaces. Some parts of the slip were using a font that has no Urdu letters, so shop names, product names and notes written in Urdu did not appear at all.
• The item table now reads as a proper table: the product name on the left, then quantity, rate and amount in their own columns. Each column sizes itself to the figures on that bill, so a shop billing in hundreds gets more room for product names, and a large amount is never cut off at the edge of the paper.
• The batch number no longer prints on the customer's receipt. It stays on the A4 invoice and the batch register, where it belongs.
Choosing a customer at the till is now faster
• The customer window now opens showing the people you have billed most recently, so for a regular customer there is nothing to type — just pick the name.
• You can work the window from the keyboard alone: the up and down arrows move through the list, Enter selects, and Esc closes. The selected row is highlighted so it is clear where you are.
• If the customer is not found, pressing Add New Customer now carries across whatever name you typed, instead of asking you to write it a second time.
• Search now waits until you stop typing before looking. Previously every letter started its own search, and a slower search for the first few letters could arrive late and replace the correct results with older ones. The customer ledger search benefits from the same fix.
Thermal receipt: customer address, and a clearer pending total
• The customer's address now prints on the thermal receipt, under the name and phone. It is taken from the customer record and is only printed when one has been entered, so receipts for customers without an address are unchanged.
• Removed the "Sale Type" row. The heading above it already reads CREDIT SALE or CASH SALE, so the row repeated the same information and used a line of paper on every bill.
• The product name is no longer printed in bold. It was the heaviest text on the receipt, above even the grand total.
• The last line now reads "TOTAL PENDING" instead of "TOTAL BALANCE", which was being read as the amount for that bill alone rather than the customer's whole account.
• The A4 invoice is unchanged.
Purchase discounts in rupees, and live ledger balances
• Fixed: a discount entered in rupees on a purchase item was being applied to every unit instead of the whole line. Entering "100 Rs" on a quantity of 100 took off Rs 10,000 rather than Rs 100. Sale Tax and Income Tax in rupees had the same fault. Discounts entered in percent were always correct and are unchanged.
• Because this figure sets the cost of the batch, it also affected the profit shown on every later sale of that stock.
• Discount and taxes are now entered only on the item row. The separate invoice-level Discount and Taxes boxes at the bottom of the purchase screen have been removed, so each item carries its own cost instead of having a share of the invoice total spread onto it.
• Each purchase row now shows both the effective unit price and the line total, so the amount can be checked before saving.
• Fixed: in the Customer Ledger, the balance in the left-hand list did not update after a sale, so the same customer could show one figure in the list and another in the Outstanding card until the screen was reopened. The list now refreshes as soon as a changed balance is read. The Supplier Ledger had the same fault and is fixed too.
• Searching in the ledger now labels the list as search results, and a customer with no pending balance is shown as settled — or as an advance where one has been paid — instead of being coloured as money owed.
• Fixed: the version shown on the login screen, in Settings and on the update card is now read from the installed software itself. It previously came from a separate setting that could fall behind, so an updated installation could still report the older version number.
Your own shop logo, and updates from inside Settings
• You can now upload your shop logo in Settings → Invoice Settings. It prints on invoices, receipts and all reports.
• If you do not upload one, the AgroPOS logo is used as before.
• The logo file is copied into the software, so it keeps printing even if you later move or delete the original.
• Settings → System Settings now has a Software Update panel: see your installed version, press Check now, read what changed, and download with a progress bar.
• Installing from there closes and reopens the software exactly as the startup update prompt does.
• Product Type and Formulation Type lists have been expanded, with a search box and an option to write your own.
Company name spelling corrected
• The company name now reads 'Innobrains' everywhere in the software — previously it appeared as 'InnoBrains' with a capital B on some screens.
• Corrected on the login screen, sidebar, receipts, invoices, reports and the installer.
• Your data and settings are unaffected by this update.
Receipt shorter again — further roll savings
• Every receipt is now roughly 25–33% shorter than the original design.
• A 3-item bill was 11.4 cm and is now 7.7 cm.
• Invoice number, date/time and sale type are laid out more efficiently.
• Wasted space between lines removed — everything stays as readable as before.
Shorter thermal receipt — saves roll
• Receipt font sizes reduced, so bills are no longer excessively long.
• A 10-item bill was about 13 inches and is now 10 inches — roughly 20% less roll on every sale.
• Empty space at the bottom of the receipt reduced.
• Rate, quantity and total remain clearly readable.
Important: MSVCP140.dll error fixed
• On some computers the software failed to open with 'MSVCP140.dll was not found' — this is now fixed.
• The required Windows runtime files are installed with the software, so nothing needs downloading separately.
• Installing on a new computer no longer needs any extra setup.
Faster startup and percentage discounts
• A blank white screen appeared for 2–5 seconds at startup — the splash screen now appears immediately.
• Online licence verification now happens after the screen is shown, so a slow connection no longer holds up the app.
• Discounts at the till can now be entered in Rs or % — use the Rs/% button.
• A percentage discount is always converted, so receipts and invoices print the amount in rupees.
Small-screen display problem fixed
• The app now always opens maximised, filling the screen.
• On small laptops the window used to extend past the screen edge, hiding the minimise, maximise and close buttons — this is now fixed.
• Window size is set from the actual screen, so it opens correctly on any laptop.
Full running balance on credit receipts
• Credit and partial sale receipts now print the customer's previous balance, this bill's credit and the TOTAL BALANCE.
• The figures are real-time — the receipt shows the updated total the moment the sale is saved.
• Thermal receipt, A4 invoice and the WhatsApp PDF all show the same figures.
• Cash sales do not print this summary, so those receipts stay short.
Cloud backup subscription
• Your AgroPOS licence is lifetime — that has not changed.
• Cloud backup is free for the first year, then Rs 5,000 per year.
• If backup is not renewed the software keeps working normally — only online backup stops. Local backup always works.
• Existing cloud backups stay downloadable even without renewal.
Installation error fixed
• Some computers showed 'Error creating registry key … Access is denied' during installation — this is now fixed.
• The software now installs on computers without administrator rights.
• Website and support email updated in the installer.
New app icon, improved branding and a new support email
• New AgroPOS launcher icon — appears on the taskbar, desktop shortcut and Alt-Tab.
• Every screen now shows 'Agro POS' as the main name, with 'by Innobrains' underneath.
• Support email is now agro@innobrains.pk — the old Gmail address has been removed.

Sales and purchase registers now show the products sold and received (they were printing blank). Stock register column alignment fixed. Auto-update restart reworked so it no longer fails with a path error. This update is required.
Inspection registers rebuilt: no stock value or prices, no departmental branding or inspector signature, portrait layout so nothing is cut off, and equal-sized summary cards. Printed documents no longer carry our company name or support number - only agropos.innobrains.pk. The invoice footer is now editable so the shop owns its own message.
A4 invoice redesigned: removed the broken characters and the alarming red band, fixed the Credit/Cash contradiction, and the discount column now only appears when a discount was actually given.
Receipt time now prints in 12-hour format with AM/PM, and the sale type (Cash, Credit or Partial) is shown on every receipt including cash sales.
Receipts now show agropos.innobrains.pk, and our branding is reduced to one small credit line so the receipt reads as the shops own. Includes the 80mm thermal printing rebuild and the ledger fixes.
Thermal receipt rebuilt for 80mm printers: pure black printing, larger type, and the layout now fits the printable width so amounts are no longer cut off. Also fixes the update prompt reappearing after installing.
Customer Ledger fixes: Total Sales now counts cash and credit sales together, figures refresh immediately instead of staying stale, and each row is labelled Sale (Cash), Sale (Credit) or Payment rather than relying on colour alone.
Expired stock can no longer be sold. Changing a line price now needs the same authority as a discount. Backup restore verifies the file is a real AgroPOS database and keeps your data safe if it fails. Licence suspension is enforced correctly.
