AgroPOS is made by Innobrains Technologies for the people who sell seed, fertiliser and pesticide across Pakistan. We built it because the software these shops were being sold was never designed for how they actually trade.
Walk into an agriculture-input shop in Punjab and you will find a business that no general-purpose POS understands. Half the trade is on udhaar, settled after the harvest. Stock is not just a product — it is a batch, with a manufacturing date and an expiry that an inspector can and will ask about. The same bottle sells at one price for cash and another on credit.
Most shops were being offered either a cash register that could not track any of this, or an enterprise system priced for a factory and built for one. So the ledger stayed in a register, the expiry dates stayed in the owner's memory, and the inspection was a bad day every time.
AgroPOS exists to close that gap. Everything in it comes from watching how these shops actually work.
Connectivity in a mandi town is not something to build a business on. AgroPOS keeps its database on your own computer and bills at full speed with the router unplugged. The internet is for activation and backups, not for making a sale.
Credit limits, part payments, a proper customer ledger and a recovery screen are core features, not bolt-ons. A system that treats credit as an exception is useless in this trade.
Stock is tracked by batch with its own expiry date, because that is what the law requires and what a farmer deserves. Inspector Mode turns that record into a printed report in one click.
Encrypted cloud backups run automatically and are tied to your licence, not your hardware. Replace the computer, activate the same key, and your business is still there.
Innobrains Technologies was founded in 2022 in Jhang, Punjab by Arshad Ali. We are a Pakistani software company, working from the same part of the country as the dealers we build for — close enough to sit behind a counter and watch how a shop actually runs at the start of a season.
We write AgroPOS ourselves — we are not reselling someone else's product with a new name on it. When you call support, you reach the people who wrote the code, which is why problems tend to get fixed rather than logged.
That also shapes what we will tell you. If AgroPOS is not right for your shop, we would rather say so before you pay than take the money and have you ask for it back a month later.
Most billing software sold in Pakistan is written for a general shop and then labelled for agriculture. Four things in AgroPOS exist because an agri-input counter is not a general shop:
Two bottles of the same insecticide can carry different batch numbers, expiry dates and purchase rates. AgroPOS keeps each batch separately, sells the earliest-expiring one first, and blocks expired batches at the till so a cashier cannot ring one up by mistake.
Half a season is sold on udhaar and collected months later. Every customer carries a running balance and an optional credit limit; credit receipts print the previous balance, this bill's credit and the new total, so the customer leaves holding the same figure the shop holds.
Seven Agriculture Department registers — stock, batch-wise stock, expiry, sales, purchase, company-wise stock and daily sales — for any date range, on the shop's own letterhead with its dealer licence number. Purchase prices are deliberately omitted from inspection copies.
Billing, stock, ledgers and reports all run on the shop's own PC. A connection is used three times only: to activate the licence once, to upload cloud backups, and to download updates.
Innobrains Technologies is a small company, and AgroPOS is a young product — the first public release was in August 2026, and it has been updated more than twenty times since. We would rather say that plainly than claim a scale we do not have.
What that means for a buyer is concrete: when you call support you reach the people who wrote the code, fixes tend to ship in days rather than quarters, and features get added because a shopkeeper asked for them. It also means we are still learning what dealers in other districts need, so if AgroPOS is missing something your Agriculture Department asks for, telling us is the fastest way to get it built.
