AgroPOS keeps your business records on your own computer. This page sets out exactly what leaves that computer, why, and what we do with it.

Your sales, customers, ledgers and stock live in a database file on your PC. We never see them, except inside the encrypted backups you choose to upload. We do not sell or share your data with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
AgroPOS is an offline-first program. The following is written only to your own machine and is never transmitted as part of normal use:
You can bill customers all day with the network cable unplugged. None of the above is needed by us for the software to work.
To issue and lock a licence, AgroPOS sends us your licence key, the shop name you typed, and a Machine ID. The Machine ID is a one-way cryptographic hash derived from a Windows identifier — it identifies the computer, but cannot be reversed to reveal anything about it or about you.
The software checks in periodically to confirm the licence is still valid and has not been suspended. That check carries the licence key and Machine ID, and nothing about your sales or customers.
Starting a trial records the Machine ID against the trial, which is how we enforce one trial per computer. That record is kept even after the trial ends — otherwise the limit could be bypassed by reinstalling.
An encrypted copy of your database is uploaded to our servers, roughly once an hour when the computer is online. This is the only circumstance in which your business records leave your premises, and it exists so that a dead hard disk does not end your business records.
If you buy online or create an account at agropos.innobrains.pk, we store your name, phone number, email address and shop name, your orders, and the payment screenshot you upload as proof. The proof image is stored privately and is visible only to our staff who review payments.
We do not process card payments ourselves and never receive your card details. Our website does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling.

Nobody, in the ordinary course. We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
The limited exceptions are the ones any business has: the hosting provider that runs our servers, and disclosure where a court or Pakistani law validly requires it. In the second case, we will tell you unless we are legally barred from doing so.

Backups are encrypted, the website runs over HTTPS, admin access to our systems is restricted to named staff accounts, and every action our staff take on a licence is recorded in an audit log.
On your side, the single most valuable thing you can do is change the default admin123 password on your first day. Until it is changed, anyone who can reach the keyboard can sign in as administrator. The setup guide shows how.
AgroPOS is business software sold to shopkeepers. It is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If we change how data is handled in a way that matters to you, we will update this page and tell licence holders directly rather than quietly editing the text.
